Keep off the roads!

Oldest son sat the test for his (driving) learners permit yesterday.

He passed on the first attempt with about 3 wrong answers (I think you are permitted no more than 8 wrong answers – do worse and you have to sit the test again).

Now he’s an official learner driver. And I’m an officially worried parent.

Oh. My. God.

Now you’ll have the endless, ‘Dad, hey Dad can you take me out for a drive now? Hey Dad? What about now? NOW?’

….and then, when he passes, another competitor for the car keys….

My grand daughter will be old enough to drive next year. I’m getting my worrying out of the way now.

Haha! Big empty carparks are going to be your best friend for the next month or so!

NSW one wrong answer. My son did it three times because he was too lazy to read the book but frankly, he’s the safest driver in the family. I drive like a Nana and his sister thinks brakes are meant to break . .three sets in 4 years!

What are you worried about? You have to be in the car with him when he is on L’s.

It’s when he is onto his P’s which you should start to worry.
